Planning Permission in Lincolnshire

PLANNING APPROVAL:

We are delighted to have received planning approval for our reserved matters application for 17 new dwellings at a great little site in #Lincolnshire.

The scheme is a mix of single storey and 1 ½ storey properties, faced in a mixture of buff facing brick and vertical timber cladding.  The homes are largely grouped around a central green open space and the site further benefits from glorious countryside views surrounding the properties.

Being in Lincoln, (a low lying area), the site levels are being raised above the 1 in 1000 year flood level (+climate change event). Additional flood resilient design measures are also to be put in place to fully protect the homes for the longer term.

In the interests of biodiversity and in accordance with Policy 28 of the South East Lincolnshire Local Plan (2011-2036), three swift nest bricks are to be incorporated within the external walls of each (1 ½ storey) dwelling.

As a further commitment to a more sustainable design ethos, the dwellings will also be designed such that, each dwelling has a water consumption rate not exceeding 110 litres per person per day.

We are also looking forward to delivering this scheme to the new revised Building Regulations, with a much more sustainable use of energy/resources and much higher building performance targets.
